There are many sites that give great overviews of things to do on your holiday: Activities & Sports, Whats on, Food & Drink, Travel Tips, Shops, Arts, History, Heritage, Landscape, Walks, Wildlife and other useful links - here are just a few:
Don't forget what you have on your doorstep! St.Just is in an area of natural beauty that was granted 'World Heritage Status' in 2006. Much of the rugged West Penwith coastline is owned by the National Trust who are working hard to preserve the mining history of the area. Explore the area; visit the mines, ancient earth works and megalithic monuments.
A must while in the Penzance - Lands End area is the Minack Theatre the open air amphitheatre set on the cliffs at Porthcurno. If you are not lucky enough to book a performance then go on a daytime visit to explore the theatre and it's fascinating story.
Why not try FRANKIE'S DINER On the A30 at St.Erth Ideal for a meal en route or if you are out and about on holiday. Owned by a friend of ours, you will get good home cooking, all-day breakfasts, value for money and a warm welcome. Mention Saffron Cottage and you may even get a free cup of tea!
